1971 911 3.2 conversion throttle rod length
I am just finishing up the engine/tranny swap in my 71 911. 3.2 Carrera motor/915 Transmission running Weber 46mm carbs. I am doing the throttle linkage and the throttle rod from the transmission to the motor is too long by about an inch. The transmission is out of an 84. Is the solution ordering a throttle rod for an 84 911?
Thanks in Advance.. S |

Can you post some pictures? I'd like to see your conversion. Also a shot of how your linkage is configured, including the bell cranks on the trans and the manifold would be helpful.
