No high beam on head lamps...

On my -74 project, the time has come for the lights set-up. Nothing was connected when I got the project and I need to go the path slowly. The right wires are there and I believe I have set the wires according to the electrical schematic, but I get no high beam on the head lamps.

Any idea ?

Reverse the wire at the fuse box and see if what happen (which beam come on when the low beam are selected and when the high beam is selected).

I did a switch of the wires at the fuse box, but I only reversed the high/low beam. Now the low beam is only working but no high beam.

No current on high beam on both blue and green/yellow wire when switchin to high beam on the steering rack.

Is there a relay that Iam not aware of here ?

My Bentley only covers 84-89 but I did look at the schematics for the headlights. No factory relays, but did prior owner install something like the JWest headlight relay kit to protect the wiring? If so, perhaps one of those relays is bad. Typical installation location will be below the front fuse box with two relays exposed.

Other than checking continuity of the high beam wiring from the turn signal to your headlamps, its possible there could be an issue with the contacts in your turn signal for activating the high beams.

Here is a thread with pictures of the contacts in that turn signal switch.

Does your 74 have a high beam indicator on the dash? If so, does it come on when you try to activate the high beams? My schematic shows that indicator is fairly downstream in the wiring so if that is coming on but your lamps are not, then your issue is between the fuse block and lamps. (or the dash bulb is dead).

Tracing continuity from the turn signal all the way to the head lamp is probably your best option.
