Need PPI in Monterey, California zip 93940

I just put a deposit down on a 1992 Porsche 964 Coupe located in Monterey California zip code 93940. I'm looking for recommendations on a shop to do a pre-purchase inspection One that does a thorough job. Compression test, leak down, rust , accident inspection.

There should be a good one there but I haven't heard of it/them. If you don't have success finding one in Monterey there is a shop in Santa Cruz, which is not too far away (~ 42 miles ). Don't forget paint inspection.

Smith Volvo in San Luis Obispo has (had?) a GREAT wrench named Guy who knows aircooled cars extremely well. He used to own his own shop (Guy’s Porsche) and did all of my work when I lived on the central coast. It’s been @ 10 years so I’m not sure he’s still there.

Another great resource, though further North, are the folks at RMG Enterprises in Sunnyvale. They do very, very comprehensive PPI work.

If it has to be Monterey and David is not available, then ask him whom he'd recommend.

We have fantastic resources in Norcal.

I have had great results with Dave and his staff. Some people find his directness a bit unsettling, I welcome it. Last year I had a problem with my 911 at Werks Reunion, he took me right in. Give him a call.
