fuel line for '70 911T
It shouldn't be this difficult, but i seem to be struggling finding the proper fuel line to use?
I'm looking to replace my rubber fuel lines on car since it has been in my basement for 8 years. I've measured most of the fittings (fuel tank outlet, fuel pump,T in the engine compartment and the Weber fittings on the carbs I plan to use) all are .312"or 7.92mm Our hose sells 7mm and 7.5mm ID hose with braided OD seems to me that 7mm would be too small? What should I use? thanks Jeff |

Itīs true, that 1969-73 cars used 7mm and 9mm fuel hose, as listed in the PET, from the factory. Some 45 years ago.
7,5mm and 9,5mm fuel hose will replace these with no problem on your 1970T. The short answer is that the ones to go for today is Cohline 2240.0600, which has this inner/outer diameter: 7,3mm / 13,5mm, and Cohline 2240.0800, which measures 9,3mm / 15,3mm. This is also the type of hose that Porsche uses as replacement hoses for early 911s today. Use correct Norma clamps.
