Front Bilstein Strut Housing
Can someone please clarify what is inside the front strut housing of a 1974 Bilstein. Always thought nothing but I've got some type of rubber bushing in the bottom of both housings and they don't seem to want to come out. Also isn't there some type of replaceable sweep that goes on top?

DU bushing under the cap/wiper, the rubber at the bottom might be the bump stop?

That's what I kinda thought. Like the one that's on the shock?? But it doesn't seem to want to come out.
