911 top end rebuild and more

Hey guys. I have an 84 911 cab with about 78k miles. I got it in 2004 and have been very systematically and painstakingly cleaning, updating and fixing everything and I知 really excited.

So recently I decided to do a top end rebuild. I finally had some money, a little bit of time, a friend who also happened to be an experienced Porsche mechanic and my car was burning about 1 quart of oil every 800 miles. I値l detail everything as exactly as I can and outline everything I致e done but here痴 what I知 doing right now:

Top end rebuild, new drilled rotors all around and new race pads. Koni sport shocks. Centerforce clutch. Upgraded shift coupler. Wevo engine mounts with black pillows. All the other little things that pop up when your in there. Anyway, I知 just excited about the work I知 doing and what I知 learning. What an amazing piece of machinery!

Looking good! I’d like to learn to do that myself someday!

Thanks! Lol. I知 not sure I would have jumped into this without my friend being there. I actually rebuilt my transmission a few years ago and I did that without any help. But now, I don稚 have the time to study up on the project and I have this wealth of knowledge by my side so I decided to jump in. Nothing has been crazy hard so far but there are some tricks that I would have been clueless about had it not been for my mechanic friend.
