I've found a silver 79 930. Unfortunately (or forturnately) it's a euro model. The owner is asking $27K and sounds like he's pretty firm on the price. The engine has been recently rebuilt, it has B&B exhaust, Andial intercooler, K-28 turbo, tial waste gate, greedy blow off valve, etc. One problem is the engine is in his other car (the brown one on auto traderonline). The car is a euro model with no sunroof (good) and silver window trim (bad). The pictures look good and I would fly or drive out to see the car before buying. I know, get a PPI. Any thoughts on this this.
Thanks. |

Let me get this straight, the owner says that the engine on the '79 930 has been rebuilt but it's in his other car?
![]() ![]() Anyway, 27K is too much for a 79 930. For that much, you can probably find an 84+ 930 I bought my 1984 930 and this was 4 years ago. I paid 25K....I can't imagine that the value of 930s has appreciated that much in 4 years! I would keep looking

I'm not getting replies on this so let me ask another question: What are the chances of finding a US 930 without a sunroof?
