Looking For Recommendations: Appraiser (Oregon/ North California)

First Post ever,

In two weeks I will be flying down south (from Canada) to pick up my new to me 1982 911 SC near the Oregon/ California Border.

I plan on dipping into Northern California before taking the Oregon Coast Highway back up into Canada.

I would like to get the car appraised while i'm down there, this will help my insurance company more accurately reflect the cars value. We cant just insure the car for more money up here and if something were to happen I would not want to receive "blue book value" for the car.

Any recommendations someone might have for a Porsche familiar appraiser would be appreciated.

I suggest touching base with contacts in the PCA Redwood and Golden Gate Regions. You might be able to start with the web sites and find your way to appropriate experienced appraisers through region presidents.

The PCA Zone 7 rep may also be able to help. She and her husband have a lot of experience and contacts.
