1973 T Wiper switch wiring
On my 1973 T wiper switch wiring I have a brown with white stripe wire that i do not know where it goes. It looks to come straight from the six pin connector under the dash.
Thanks for the help |

Looking at my wiring diagram, the brown/white wire (switched ground) looks to be the switched ground that is connected to the horn relay. The striped wire connects to your horn button (connection point 82a), goes to the 6 pin connector and then to pin 85 of your horn relay.

From what I see, the turn signal has a brown and white wire that connects to the horn button ring under the steering wheel. The brown wire connects the body ground to the screw that holds the horn ring under the steering wheel. Now I have the one brown and white wire from the wiper harness with no place to land. It has a female connector on it. The car had an after market steering wheel on before. I now have the correct steering wheel. Does the switched ground go to some place on the horn button itself?

I believe i have found the issue. One of the brown and white wires is not used. This may have been there for optional steering wheels. Can anyone confirm this.
