Fenders
Here is an issue I ran into. I'm restoring a '68 912. The parts of fenders that hold the blinkers and horn grills are a bit rusty. Also, the bowl around the gas cap opening is pretty much gone. I know they're replaceable but I started looking at buying a complete fender set.
I looked at a couple for earlier cars and for some reason they're appeared different. Specifically the part that fits blinkers and horn grills is much smaller and thinner. So the question is - are later '69-73 fenders identical to early ones? Are they interchangeable? Thanks! |

Fenders are different from SWB to LWB they would bolt on the car but park light, grill, and flare are all different.

Definitely not interchangeable. You need 65-68 fenders.

That's what I thought, thanks for confirming.
How about the frunk cover (aka long hood)? Are they different too? |
