Engelbert,
How are these different / better than what we've had on offer here before (i.e. The Ultimate LED Ba7s bulbs for Gauges ala ETarga (pic & vid)?

Hi Englebert- Just wanted to thank you for a great LED pack. Went with the Vintage, and what a huge difference from stock! The schematic on this thread showing bulb positions was very helpful. I started install by removing the tachometer, went outward on both sides from there. Used a jewelers flathead screwdriver to start the bulb removal process, the whole install took under a hour.

Had mine for about 9 months and love the vintage white ones. Great upgrade and very necessary in my book. Tim

Love my vintage white LEDs, fast shipping, great price, huge upgrade to stock. They showed me (unfortunately) how dirty the insides of the lenses on some of my gauges are! Yet another project...

Hi Engelbert,
I got you bright white, Not the classic yellowy ones. I think they look brilliant - really white and not blue at all. Perfect, and they were easy to install - highly recommendable!

In my journey of Porsche ownership, there are some projects where you put in a lot of work and time to get the results you wanted. That seems like most projects I tackle.
This was not one of those projects. ![]() I went to the mailbox after work one day and in no time at all these LEDs were in the car. If I hadn't promised Englebert I'd take pictures, it wouldn't have slowed me down so much. ![]() This is one of those projects that is so easy you ask yourself why you waited so long to do it. I have the bright white bulbs and they are perfect for me. Not blue at all. Fantastic product.

Yes, they go from bright to dim, rather than originally dim to useless.

I put the brute white LEDs in in May and was really glad I did. Such a great improvement. Can now read gauges easily at night. Highly recommend them.

Ba7 led
What a fantastic site and blog. There is a lot of passion behind remedying this "light problem". I really enjoyed reading the original blog and now the end results.

I made my own LEDs for my 914 by glueing little Cree LEDs to pieces of plastic dowels turned down to fit the light sockets. What a PITA. These look great. Simple non-destructive fix for a common problem.
My only question is what color: bright or vintage? Do vintage illuminate them sufficiently?
