Transformation.... finally
My signature the past 7 years has shown my ‘86 undergoing an endless 3.6 transplant. But as I’m sure many know, life can get in the way. Teenage girls with tuitions, business challenges, new marriage, all meant delays. This past winter, with encouragement and help from my wife I dove back into the rebuild. Goal is to be back on the track in July.
Here’s what the car looked like in 2010 at MidOhio (my BIL behind me). http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1525045812.jpg Cage work http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1525045991.jpg Loading into my trailer to deliver to the painter tomorrow after several months of body work most evenings after work http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1525048609.jpg 3.6 coming together (thanks Steve Weiner!), this has been my evening therapy the past few weeks http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1525048796.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1525048855.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1525048885.jpg Hopefully this is what it’ll look like when I’m back on track in July. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1525049082.jpg |

Looks fantastic, I am new to the PCar world but I live close if you ever need a hand with something

Looks like it will be stunning! Martini colors are the best! I have them on my Atom.
If there is ever a Porsche meet in the Chicago area, I would love to travel down from Minneapolis to join and get some more motivation for my project. |
