911 Speedo not registering miles
1982 911, spedo registers speed but not miles driven. Thoughts?

Possibly odometer gear is stripped a fairly common failure, mine went out at 115,000 miles. Pelican sells the gears but I wound up sending mine off to Palo Alto.

Several great threads on this issue. Requires patient and careful removal of the glass bezel. Toughest part of the job. Searching for old threads is a key here. Most every issue has been covered.

This thread should help. Helped me when I replaced my odometer gear a couple of years ago.

Our host has it on tech forum, they also sell replacement gear
