Seat belt options

Looking for suggestions on seat belts as I won’t be using the factory 3 point belts. The car does not have a roll bar to attach a harness either. I have read about 4 points and everything seams to say to stay away from them. The car will be mostly street. I’d like to go with a some kind of harness . Also the mounting points are important too. I’d like to stay with the factory points and not drill into the rear parcel shelf. Interested to see what others have done.

At a minimum, you will need a harness bar. The shoulder straps need to be parallel to the floor behind you. If you have the stock Porsche “Tombstone” seats, they will need to be replaced with a seat that has the holes for the shoulder harness.

If you will NOT be going to any sanctioned track event, a 4 point could work. Most track organizers if not all do not permit 4 points.

If you still want a four point. Consider the Stroth Rallye 4 ones. https://www.schrothracing.com/products/rallye-belts if you want to go this route. I have one in my car. The lap part attaches where my stock lap attachment points are. The shoulders are attached to the rear seat lap belts.

You will need to do something to you car if you go with a 5 or 6 point unit for the sub straps.
