I give up - need quality technician in Rhode Island

I'm ashamed to say it, but I give up. I need professional help for my '89 C4. I have completed extensive top end rebuild, but continue to have performance problems and feel the hammer is the only way out. Any quality techs in Providence, RI or nearby?? Thanks.

Are you the guy that discovered the broken headstud a year ago or so? I don't remember...

Are there no quality Porsche technicians near Providence, Rhode Island or Seekonk, MA?

Help!!

Steve

p.s. Yes, I was the one with the busted head stud on a 38K mile engine.

I think you're the only person living in RI. And I don't mean the only Porsche owner either.

No - there are 2 people in Rhode Island!!
In Johnston, Natale Brothers - call and ask for Dennis Natale. He did a sychro and clutch job on my 1984 Targa. Great work and he completes the job on schedule.

Tech in RI

I had clutch work done by Tom at Metric Motors in Rehoboth, Mass.. He is located on Rt. 6 (Fall River Avenue) just east of the Seekonk Speedway. What I liked about him is that he didnt diagnose or oreder any parts until he took the car apart and checked it out. I had heard all kinds of theories why it wouldnt shift right and all it turned out to be was a loose clutch fork pivot bolt. Myself and a couple other guys around her recommend him to anybody.

911Tfan, this thread is 9 years old.....

I would think Steve probably found a hammer since then ;)
