Village Glassmith out of Needham I think
One man operation. Did great work on several of our cars.
He did not come to do the 911 but I asked him how he would do it and he described the process well enough to tell me he has done many times before.

Thanks, Reach. Sadly, our man Don retired and sold his business to some bigger regional outfit . he's done so many for me over the years.

Re: easy, do it at home...Should have noted that in MA Glass replacement is fully covered by insurance but has to be done by a licensed Glass Tech or some such...

I would give Mike's Auto Body in Malden, MA a call. They must use somebody they can recommend, or do it themselves.

Don't know if Pro Source installs them but they sell a lot of them.

Maybe for an early 911 but most certainly not for a 964.

Mike Noonan sold his business. Mike specialized in 911's and I'm sure someone in his outfit knew how to put a 911 windshield in. Mike himself for sure. He converted my '86 to use a 964 seal.

I spent thousands of dollars there and thousands more elsewhere to clean up their half-assed work. And I was only one of many! They most certainly did not have a clue when it came to working on the 964.

Surprised to hear badly about Mike's Auto Body of Malden. I had heard good things about their work. Was considering them for a respray eventually.

Thanks Chris. Although I live less than 10 miles away, I've clearly been out of the loop. I didn't know that Mike Noonan had sold the place.

American plate and auto glass did a nice job on my SC last fall.

Small shop, does lots of cars for Paul Russel's shop in Essex.

Pro source does not install, but American plate got my OEM glass there, $400 less than the same glass from the dealer, just doesn't have Porsche emblem.

Hagerty paid for OEM quote from dealer.

Also, they paid for new factory seal and trim, no questions asked.

Just have shop quote it.
