Brake Issue 1967 912/6

Hi, I'm hoping someone can help. I have a 1967 912/6 and I changed the Master Cylinder, added braided brake hoses, used PMB Calipers purchased through Pelican and added new rotors and pads. I have bled the system 7 times and the pedal still travels 3/4 of the way to the floor before catching and then no matter how hard you push the brakes won't lock up.

I pressure tested the whole system using a Motive Brake Bleeder at 10psi and it held pressure for a long time never losing it. We bled it with the Motive and the old fashioned way but still the same result. Any ideas?

Thank you,
Ben

Did you check and/or reset the pushrod length?

Thank you for the replies. I didn’t check the pushrod length I just switched out the master cylinders. How do I go about doing that?

Remove floorboard, using hand, push brake pedal, watch pushrod into back of master cylinder, there needs to be a minimum clearance of 1 mm before pushrod starts to move M/C piston. Pushrod is adjustable.
