Mechanical Brake Light Switch
Finished the mechanical brake light switch in our 1983 911 SC and happy with the results. My plan was to "leave no trace", i.e. no drilling into the master cylinder etc. My manufacturing tools consisted of a vice and ball peen hammer. I added a machine screw for fine adjustment. The switch is from a 2010 Hundai Elantra, standard transmission. Next is to add a third brake light, any suggestions?

I fit a Hella brake light on my Targa using some double sided tape and homemade brackets. I think they’re a necessity these days.

I made the same modification last year but used a different approach to mounting the switch. Used 1/4" aluminum plate with (2) M8 coupling nuts and threaded rods.

Any thoughts on using this connector as pig back on the factory switch?
