911 SC front tunnel: What's the black clip / retainer for?
I replaced my clutch cable recently and now sometimes have a squeeky clutch pedal.
I'm pretty sure it has something to do with the black clip/retainer circled in red as the noise changes/disappears when I move this. Can someone tell me what the use is for this retainer and what should be the correct position? (In the pic, the position is not correct) ![]() |

Those are welded metal tabs covered in insulating material used to retain the wiring harness or wire bundles as needed.
You'll find them attached to the exterior of the tunnel also. As to correct position, your hot on the trail it seems

I figured it out, it fixes the upper left black tube in place + have positioned it so the clutch cable doesn't squeek.
Thanks! |
