Help with production date on 1975 911

There wasn’t much left of the original sticker and looking to replace it.
I believe it was a 3/75 but wanting to know if there is a way to verify by vin

Well we have narrowed the production date between November 19, 1974 and November 30, 1974.

Vehicle 9115200989 built 11/19/74. Vehicle 9115201238 built 11/74. Your car 911520101* was built in between those two vehicles, the last two weeks of November 1974. Assuming the plant was shut down Saturday November 30, 1974 there is a 10 day window of when your car was completed.

I hate you for obsessing me to find the exact date.

I did the research for the 911 coupes after he posted the query on Pelican.

First I went to eBay typed in 1975 911 and looked at photos of the vehicles for sale. If the seller showed the black or silver sticker in the door jam I noted the VIN and production date.

Then I went online and typed 1975 911 for sale and searched all the online ads for the same black/silver door jam sticker. Once you can put your VIN number between two stickers in the same month you have your production date.

In his case I was able to narrow it down to 10 days in November 1974.

Not a hard process but time consuming.
