This link has the default advance curve for PermaTunes Digital Fire for Porsche Single Plug.
Before you start mucking with the curve.
Could be useful.

I didn't know Permatune made a crank-fire system. Has anyone ever used it?

It is interesting to note that the tech info for the both the single and twin plug Permatune "Digital Fire" units shows this same advance curve:
