Looking for paint shop in S.E. MA
Looking for a paint shop in south eastern MA, Boston, or even Providence RI area, that knows 911's pretty well. I have a '77 carrera targa that the rear window will need to come out to paint properly. Car needs a sand and re-spray only + attention to the rear window area. I've had plenty of restoration shops say they would do the work, but there all very expensive. I estimate the job should be in the range of $3,000- $4,000. Anyone know of any.
Thankyou, Jack. |

I'm a left coast guy, so this may be a silly suggestion.
How are are you from Sunapee, NH? Pelicanite Series900 has a shop there, and his work is gorgeous. Just a thought....

Mikes Autobody in Medford is great with Porsches,
John Dillian Levitt Street Autobody, of Salem used to do Porsches, not sure if he is still painting, but he had some awesome cars. I have heard of King Collision of Plymouth area Mike does some great work, I have seen a lot of his cars a the track and shows. He knows Porsches very well

King collision did a very nice job on my VW passat after a minor accident. I was very pleased with the work. I had it done at their office in Pembroke, MA

Wow this thread is old, that's why I love this place. anyone used those suggested paint shops above like Mikes which now seems to be in Malden (nice website...) Mike's Auto Body of Malden, MA | Expert Collision Repair
Series 900 still seems there as well but doesn't mention paint on site Series 900

I recently recommended Mike's on another thread, and was told that Mike Noonan had sold the shop. I got the impression that it's not the place it used to be, but I have no personal experience.

Guys don't get confused. Series 900 is a top notch restoration business
The other places are collision shops that can paint your car. Big difference. It's your choice but make an informed decision.
