Earl of March likes his Porsches
I was just flipping thru the March copy of Classic & Sports Car and notice the end-page interview with the Earl of March (of Goodwood fame). So what does he have to say about Porsches:
Q: And which [car] would be your ideal for the Festival of Speed? A: For me to drive at the Festival - 908/3 Porsche -- perfect car for the job. Q: What's the best car you've ever owned, and why? A: Porsche 924 Carrera GT. It ran faultlessly for 14 years - did well over 100,000 miles and handled like a dream. Q: Which car do you most regret selling and what do you miss about it? A: Porsche turbo 996 - missed it so much I had to buy another one. Can't imagine what possessed me to even think of selling it. Apparently he will also be driving a 908 at the festival this year. Not too bad your lordship
