Red headliner for red interior trim?
Good morning - bothered to work up at a car with the red interior to see if headliner is supposed to be read as well or if it was more commonly white or black.
Asking about a ‘66 912 and for a ‘75 911. Thanks

As for 912-can't say I have ever read or seen a 912 that had a red headliner....I have seen the most common and perhaps the only two options for a 912--black or white that was offered from Porsche when they rolled off the assembly line. Perhaps Porsche felt that red was too overwhelming with a red interior and with those cars, black and white was most common.

A read headliner with a red interior would be pretty 80s-Saudi-prince. On an old American car, sure. On a 911, I'd go with white. I'm pretty sure black and white were the only options anyway, outside of special orders.

Thanks gentlemen, I appreciate the feedback. Now that I think about it full red would be a bit much

An all red interior and headliner would probably make me Think I was back in the womb. Not that that is a bad thing.
