9 " X 15 RSR WHEELS backspace or offset ?

I need help with this:
I recently converted my 914 to 916 look then I need wider wheels.
My problem is at the rear because I want 9"
Please tell me the backspace or offset of the 9 x 15 fuchs wheels.
I received an e-mail from wheelenhancemnet and told me that the offset of this:
9X16 15 mm
8X15 10.6 mm
9X15 ?
8X16 ?
If aprecciate a lot if somebody tell me the difference between backspace and offset ?

I received an e-mail

8 x 16 is the same offset

backspace = is the distance from the back lip of the wheel to the mointing pad of the wheel.

offset = is the distance from the center of the wheel to the mounting pad of the wheel.

Hi Eduardo,
ALL Fuchs rims, with the exception of the 9X16 and the 7X15 type 911R have 120mm backspacing.
From that you can determine the offset.
For a 9X15, it should be about 3 to 5 mm.
I hope it's correct, but I think it is.
Regards, George
