Washington state: When is car a collector and exempt?
Hey Washingtonians!
When do our cars pass over to emission exempt status and when do our cars become collector's items? Thanks mightily, John

1978 and earlier are exempt. http://www.ecy.wa.gov/programs/air/cars/emischeckfaqs.htm
Here is the info on Collector vehicle license plates, if that is what you meant. http://www.dol.wa.gov/vs/tr-spp.htm#Antique Are you coming to the get together this Saturday?

I do hope so. I am helping my remodeling guy with the little bits in the garage. Very excited about that project and must be on call to help with drywall and mudding. I think I can cut away though.
So I didn't have to pass emissions this year with my '78SC? Those bastards! EDIT: Ah, my mistake! Last year was my last year! Where the hell are those SSIs? John

If you're from the bay area, you might not notice much difference. Very similar cities, in my view.
