Did all 911s come with sunroof drain provisions even if the car did not have a sunr
Specifically asking about my 1974. It appears that the roof I my car has been replaced at some point and I had a rust spot that was exactly where one of the drain holes near the engine lid were supposed to be. My car does not have the drains, or if it did they were closed in at some point before I bought it.

Nope. It was a brazed in tube if and only if the car had a sunroof.

Thank you for the fast response.
This puts me in a bit of a pickle because I didn't realize the roof has been replaced and a sunroof added until after the car, of course, had been painted. I had thought the sunroof had come with the car, and I now have to figure out what to do with the drains without tearing apart the car.

I had a 67S with a 356 C sunroof that had been added. The drains were plastic tubing that was run down through the A pillar and C pillar. I didn't do any investigation beyond that as I owned that particular car for a very brief time, mainly due to the non original sunroof.
