Al Reed does good work . . . and not just on wheels

Some one asked, so here are some pics of my fan, housing and valve covers done by Al Reed.

And here is a close up of the fan. Notice the portion where the fan blade clearance is necessary is polished. The back side is powdercoated.

You're my hero Paul! Nicely done. You've got to come down to Laguna Niguel to give me a little attitude adjustment when you put that bad boy back together!

Looks awesome...great stuff...

just to add to the many good things to say about Al...

I find it pretty rare to conduct business with someone and find that it is someone who does some of the best work out there, for some of the most affordable prices and is a class act too...

Because I am far from his shop, Al met me after the dunkels show to pick up my wheels, then met me last saturday at this shop with a smile...gave me my wheels, then we spent about 30 minutes just talking about racing NASCAR, CART, F1 etc...

he showed me his pictures of his involvement with CART and such...

Class act

MJ

Looks killer, I am planning on having him do all of my powder coating as well as refinish my wheels. He is one of the easiest people to give Porsche $$ to, they are really nice and fair+ first rate work.

I am looking to refinish my BBS wheels. Where is he located and can you guys give me his contact information. How much should it cost for the lips to be polished and the centers to be refinished in silver (instead of the current gold).

All the pieces were powdercoated for $95. Al said he generally charges $150 for the fan housing.
