And infiniti or something...maybe it was a maxima, I don't know (infiniti I think)
The sepulveda pass. A winding road...we were flying. There are a few lights--naturally, I spanked him from a dead stop and took off ahead many carlengths. But the bastard had a lot more guts than I did, and screeched those wheels in the turns and moved ahead. Clearly, when we were even, his wheels were screeching as he inched ahead in the turns, while mine were not. But, being--what's the word, rational and aware of the danger, I didn't push it, and he took it; looked like he might break loose at any time though. Still he didn't. What else could I do, but put Jack Olson in the driver's seat for me instead. It wasn't speed, power, or handling that was the problem. Those were all in my favor--it was the driver, Kurt "Mr. Magoo" B, and the fact that there's traffic; still it was fun. ------------------ 1984 Rockin' Cab www.geocities.com/carrera_cabriolet |

My old 1990 Infinity Q45 damaged a few egos in its' day. Back then, I had all balls and no brains- which is really what you need to race on public roads. Even good drivers should chill on these roads. After driving on Road Atlanta Raceway, I found it a little scary driving fast on the public roads on the way home. Too many uncertainties out there to cross you up!

That pass at night with all the center divider construction crap is a death trap! Better to let the fool win than challenge 3' of continuous vertical concrete...
