The temperature and pressure sensors on a 3.6 are in the same little console, all the way back (which is to say toward the front of the car) on top of the engine (but below the intake manifold stuff) on the passenger side.

So that I understand -- you're seeing 250° temps in your oil lines up at the front of the car -- in normal driving? The only time I ever see oil temps even close to that are on very hot track days. I've never done a specific measurement on the oil lines.

How long were you idling the car before you got temps that high?
