Post Convertible top relay needed

The relay box that is underneath the passenger floorboard on my '87 911 Cabriolet is dead. This means I have to use a screwdriver to manually close the "dogs" that engage the windshield to the top. Does anyone know of a good source for a used one? Or a reasonable price for a new one? My wrench is telling me $400 + for a new one. I also need the passenger side gizmo that connects to the cable from the motor and puts the top up. This is more precicely the part you can loosen with the lug wrench if the power top mechanism does not work, in order to put the top up manually.
tks
Dennis

There was a thread about this recently.
Unfortunately, all the parts you mention have been "upgraded" and "surpeceeded" by Porsche and unless you can find good used, your shop is going to end up replacing both the lifting transmissions, cables and control unit. The control unit is the least expensive. We have done a few of these in our shop.

I have a control unit that I would be happy to sell at the price I paid for it. I have had alot of experience with these tops and I would encourage you to check everything else very carefully prior to replacing the control unit. THe system is really tied into each other and any one of many things can cause the top not to work. There are 2 microswitches located in the passenger rear quarter, 2 microswitches that are located on the top that strike the windshield telling the motors to latch and the latch motors also have switches in them. I would check all of these carefully. You also have an inline fuse in one of your power leads. I would also check that carefully. If you would like to purchase the unit send me an email. These units are no longer made by Porsche and the 993 module needs to be rewired to work correctly. There is a technical reference manual that I would suggest you get that outlines the entire wiring diagram as well as adjustment procedures etc.
