1979 Turbo- Help with identifying car
Trying to learn about a colleagues 930. Please see attached images below:
Id like to know color and interior and is there any way to learn about options that came with car? Its a 1979 with 50k miles. Appears to be a brown metallic with a cork? interior. VIN# 9309801111 Color Id: 419-2 ?? ![]()

You order a certificate of authenticity from Porsche Cars North America. Takes a couple weeks and a few hundred bucks.

Color - I think it reads 451 - 9 - 2 ... where the first 3 digits are the color, the next represents the location where painted, and the 3rd is the manufacturer of the paint (I think I have that right). O'wise as Matt said, assuming the VIN-Transmission-Engine numbers are matching to the original vehicle (they don't match each other, but rather what the factor shows for numbers on delivery). 451 is "Mocha Brown" - if I am correct about the plate.
