it's that popular. the on site parking tickets sold out in a matter of a few hours. if you were on the mailing list they let you know.

as for the fees? meh, it's hard to buy any ticket anywhere anymore without processing fees.

that's a hell of an event for $35!...

One of the most highly anticipated Porsche events of the year, and with good reason. $35 is cheap for what it is.

Both parking lots sold out. Is there any off-site parking (intended for the non-Porsches)? If not, I might be slumming it at the Ferrari show in Pasadena, instead.

Just found out that it will be on April 22, 2018 in Torrance, California. Exact location to be announced.

Same weekend as the PCA and California Festival of Speed unfortunately. Current schedule is for Torrance, CA on Sunday April 22nd 9AM - 3PM.

There is supposedly another aux parking lot nearby for non-Porsches (or people like me who registered too late). That is where I will be parking, among the heretics. I am actually glad I couldn't get a ticket for the Porsche-designated parking. I suspect they will have 500+ cars to park in less than 2 hours. Show starts at 9:00am and they won't open the gates and start parking cars until 7:00am. Logistical nightmare waiting to happen, IMO.

That said, based on my friend who attended last year for the first time, this is something not to miss if you are an air-cooled Porschephile.

I was happy to pay $35. I booked tickets to LAX with miles I've had saved and making a weekend out of it with my kid. We are both stoked. Can't wait.

Just visited the Petersen Automotive museum. A must for Porsche fans and the price is similar to what has been quoted here.

$20 to park and $10 to get into the swap meet the other week to look at a bunch of junk parts that most don't need.
