Orange bar crest on a 1975 911S?
Hello!
This is the badge I took off my 1975 911S. It's an orange bar, I think original Porsche... I have had the care since 1991, and I don't think the front of the car was ever painted or significantly damaged as to warrant replacement of the badge, as far as we can tell. Is there any chance this orange bar crest was original factory? That is, is there some overlap as they transitioned to the red bar badges that are listed as correct for this car? ![]() ![]() John Berry |

We had a early 75 in that looked original in every way. Had a orange bar badge...

Short answer, yes, there was overlap and some G body cars had the orange badge.

Excellent. Thank you for the response and affirmation that I most likely have the original badge. Very cool that it's an orange bar. Now... any suggestions on getting it refurbished? Any forum members do that sort of work?
