Strut Roll Pins

Pelican sells the Bilstein strut roll pin, which anchors the bottom of the strut cartridge to the strut internally, but they are expensive and shipped with brand new strut cartridges. Bilstein does the same thing. When they re-valved my strut cartridges, they returned them painted and with brand new rubber stops, but did not include the roll pins. Bilstein is a service department, and cannot sell me roll pins. (BS) I am going to re-use my old roll pins, but I wish I had new ones. Does anyone know where I can get new ones?

I think Chuck at Elephant stocks them. They're kind of an odd size that's not carried by McMaster-Carr or similar.

Ira at Tarett sent me a couple when I needed them.

As long as it takes a fair amount of pounding to re-install the old ones, they should be fine. I can't see where they would be subject to excess stress, being buried inside the strut bottoms.

Remember, split in pin points out (away from shock shaft.)
