Transmission parts needed?

I have a '75 911s and the trans was changed by the previous owner and I believe it is a '72 tranny. I am getting ready to put a '84 transmission in it. Do I need to get all the parts ,(lever arm, omega spring, etc.) to match the '84 tranny or will the parts from the '72 fit? Thanks in advance for ant help with this matter.

The Carrera needs Carrera parts including the cable is needed also
You can’t locate the 72 beldin cable part against the Carrera trans, but you could make the part.
Then you could install the shorter vertical lever and the arm from the 72/75.
It’s mix and match for you

And you will need different stub axles flanges and possibly axles depending on how the old install was done.

Thanks Flat6pac....I kinda figured that. I'll just order everything for the Carrera trans. Hopefully I won't miss something that I'll need.

Thanks Matt, luckly the tranny came with the axles and stubs.
