Offers need to be a bit higher......low ball offers are entertaining but sort of a waste of time.

If they were a sensible price henry,i would have purchased the new old ones ,not the refurbed ones.
Both are to expensive, not sure why you keep knocking the spanish carbs, the new 46 they make are as good if not better than the old.
Having just stripped a new set of 46,they look very well made.

Congratulation on your purchase. I hope they work well for you. You should post some dyno results comparing the two.

"the new 46 they make are as good if not better than the old."
I think I've read the same thing about fake Rolexs. Pointing out that an item is "original" is not the same as "knocking" a repo.
Some people are more likely to buy an original than a repo, no matter how cool they look. My target customer is that connoisseur. I would struggle with putting repos on a collectable car.
Cheers

Hello Henry, curious... What are the serial numbers that are stamped on each unit, can you please post that information or email me the details? ajserrano@msn.com - Thanks!

Research shows that carburetors ordered by the Porsche factory for early installation on cars like the 906, 911R and 2.3 ST may have had a numeric serial number and the carburetors offered to the after market had alpha-numeric serial numbers.
That information may be a bit erroneous. Weber also make 46s for Maserati and Ferrari and those carbs may also have had numeric serials.
Tracking "real" information about these old parts can be challenging .
