complete with wire harness and dme 0% leakdown across the board ,may have been rebuilt super clean ....is in So california pictures to come

Make sure you didn't use a hose from a compression tester (with a valve).
That will give 0% leak down.

OP, the pics show the engine in a 993. You don't know the mileage on the car? There is no backstory to tell about the engine? You're just going to offer three-word replies to questions? Seems like a strange way of encouraging confidence in the expensive item you're selling.

To be fair to the rings , air in should be at 80psi, then divided by pressure held 79.5? = 1.006
That is .6% leak down . FAA guide lines . Just how i was taught

the compressor was set at 100 and each cylinder was charged for a minute

Are you sure it's a 97 motor? The 96 Variorams had the "Varioram" cast into the runners. It's my understanding the 97-98 did not have this. You may need to snap a pic of the DME to confirm. Thanks

You've got this backwards....96 did not have the casting, 97-98 (mostly) did.
