Thanks Frank, my buddy from San Diego moved his shop to Atlanta and I was hauling a load back for him, He had a ton of shop equipment and a Polaris Razor that is rigged up for movie work with a huge boom on it probably $150K worth of equipment. I am just stunned waiting for police to arrive now.

We were actually supposed to be farther East but were turned around because of closure on I20 Eastbound. accident I guess, we headed back towards Dallas and stopped at nearest Hilton property

So how does one steal a truck like that with a trailer? Doesn't the truck have a chipped key and who would know what is in the trailer ??

Sorry for your loss , but it just seems like it would be a hard thing to do with the size of that truck and the way vehicles are made these days .

I would think it was towed away .

Was the truck found and how was the ignition

There weren’t chipped keys back in 2000, this was probably stolen the old fashioned way - hot wired.

I hate to even mention this, but how many people knew your route and what you were hauling?
