FS: Elephant Racing "Street" coilover set

I used these on my car for 8K miles. They are height adjustable and compression damping adjustable. The streets around here are too sh***y for this setup, I went back to "Stock" ER coilovers. For sale, shipped to your house (CONUS) for WAY less than half price at $1500. Fits '65-'89. Hit me up for questions, or one can ask Chuck at ER, who always () answers the phone personally.

Trendy has until the end of Monday to chat with Chuck at ER about getting his 912 fixed up with this coilover set. After that, if he doesn't buy the set it's up for grabs again, thanks!

Hi, Gus -

I did actually received your offer, thanks. I am still sorting through interested parties that haven't objected to the price, we are just working out the details of how these will fit on their cars. Going to coilovers isn't for the faint of heart, as you may know.

Hang in there, I may respond positively after a few more days of "sorting".

Yes I passed bc they do not fit a 68. These only fit a 72+ unless you want to do a full brake upgrade, $450 worth of parts to convert the rears and some extra money to complete the fronts. Just leaving this info that ER gave me on what’s required for other parties.

Thanks to Trendy for doing the research that every interested party should do - this is rarely a direct bolt-on experience. '65'-89 is what the ER site said, maybe that isn't totally correct. Please check it out before indicating an interest in buying, thanks!

Note to all:

This set isn't complete, as in "bolts right on". Many things depend on the particulars of your car (Boges or Bilsteins?). One prospective buyer called Chuck at Elephant, and they decided that he needed $800 more part for the kit to "bolt right on" his car. $1500. plus $800 = $2300. Pretty good deal for something that lists for over $6K, don't you think?

Rob,
What are the sprig rates?
Are the inserts for Boge or Bilstein?

What is missing other than the front coilover struts or CO kit?
