Hi Fred
I am building up a 66 2.0 case into a 2.7 for my 67S. I feel that case is more appropriate for that car. Otherwise I would rather have used the 3.0 case . A 1977 turbo roller just sold that this case would be perfect for. Anyways thanks for the kind words. Eventually someone will snatch this up. |

The guy who bought it is definitely experienced. Plans on short stroking and spinning it to 8k.
Maybe he or she will chime in and elaborate Cheers |

It was running about 20 years ago before a piston failure led to its demise but still all here. The crank was sold with a trade in from the 76turbo it was turned .020 and nitrate hardened

I could use this Case but makes the cost of my Race Engine higher than one may be willing to pay!
Fred, i would challenge you on your statement. My Race 3.8+ would blow any 66x98 you could build! Woods and I discussed a 66x98MM years ago and axed the idea in some RSR pieces build. Bob |

Challenge from Bob
Bob you are on the left coast and I am on the right coast so in this age of pandemic a virtual race is called for.I suggest a run from 40 mph to 150 with a camera and stopwatch.I do not do holeshots. This could be a new event that everyone could partake in.Next question is what are we racing for?Ciao Fred

we have determined that the busted case serial was altered a long time ago, back before it became fashionable to do so. The whole engine package is traveling to Nathanbs on the left coast later in the month
