Pair of restored Heat Flappers

Cleaned up inside and out, all HW and plastic bearings done, painted with engine paint (500F), flappers cleaned and fully operational and units ready to install. Not perfect like powder coating but a lot better then 40 year old looking ones...lots of grinding and sanding and prep to get to this point

120 + Shipping and PP fee

I understand what you have going been thru with this restoration process and have been thru restoration on several heater flappers myself in the past -

Just wondering if you had replaced 2 NEW plastic bushing (washers) in the middle/center of the lever pivots pins and retaining clips and maybe internal oval shaped flappers inside? Porsche still sells those for restoration purpose.

Perhaps you might want to post a couple pics of the back (flip over) side for I only see all pics of new spring & nut.

They do look good by the way after all that "lots of grinding and sanding and prep to get to this point"

I didnt replace the bushings, I had 2 new ones in my hands but the older ones looked like better quality so I cleaned them instead and the ensured swivel had no binding. BTW those little parts on the flappers add up quick...

Thanks ARad

came of 77 but will fit up to 87 I believe, that should be validated first by the buyer, but the difference in the 70-80 s was auto versus manual heat which activated the cables to open and close

would match up to part number 901-211-007-22

heres a link to a Dansk product

https://www.vwheritage.com/porsche/90121100722-heater-control-flap-left-porsche-spare, about 90 for one unit

i m open to reasonable offers

I'm doing this replacement right now, not a fun area to work on.

What you are selling here looks like you did a bit of hard work to get these parts to that condition.

Free bump, GLWTS!!

But got everything in all nice a cleaned up
Just waiting on new guides to finish

I assume i install with flappers open to set cable length or do i set with them closed so cable doesnt over pull when lever pulled up?
