VDO 10K Tachometer
I put together a couple tachs this weekend for other Pelicans and I had this core 78 SC tach so I converted it with a 10K face. This isn't an overlay. The "Ruf Style" 10K face was printed on the original metal face. It still has the original VDO driver board which was just modified to scale to 10K. This tach should work fine on cars with 3-pin or 6-pin CDI ignition.

If you have one you want converted to 10K I can take it as a core and reduce the price or convert yours. I can also add a voltmeter, AFR or almost any other gauge you want.

Yes. It will work with points, 3-pin, 6-pin, 8-pin, MSD, DME,and most other ignition systems.

John. I am running a MSD digital 6 AL ignition module with a tack adaptor, plus a pertronix ignitor instead of points will this tach work in our 1969 911? We rev to about 7300.

Lots of interest but still have this one. I also have a few other tach cores if someone wants a factory style 10K tach or one with a voltmeter or some other gauge added.
