Paging Robert Liberty - where's my calipers?

Hi Robert - would at least appreciate an update on my 964 calipers, payment sent 10 days ago and no tracking info or other communication received since sending payment.

Thanks for your prompt attention to this.

Bill

EDIT - to save everyone from having to read through this thread - Robert responded shortly after this with tracking info so all is resolved.

I find these public call-outs for parts lacking all dignity and respect.

For crying out loud it's a world-wide pandemic. 10 Days? I finally received something I ordered last year that was caught up in the postal system for 7 weeks.

Most, if not all the people on here who sell their old stuff sure as heck don't want to compete with Amazon and are doing it to pay it forward and break even.

As if anyone was headed to Mexico with a set of 964 calipers in their pocket...

leave your parts anxiety at the door.

Did the pandemic cut-off someone's Internet access?

Disagree. Buyer was asking for communication, not the item.

Email or messaging takes a moment to send. If you don't have time to communicate after selling an item, you shouldn't be selling things online.

Sometimes people don't respond to PMs. Or emails, texts, or phone calls. I'm in a similar situation right now and you pretty quickly run out of options when someone won't respond post-payment to any form of private communication.

I sent a few texts last week, got no response. Called and got a commitment that I would receive tracking info on Monday, did not hear anything. Waited until Wednesday, sent a text and left VM. Did not hear back. Someone makes a commitment I expect them to meet it. If he said he wouldn't get to the post office until next week I would have been fine, as long as on the day committed I receive my info.

To Robert's credit, he responded a few minutes after I posted this and had taken care of it this morning. Thanks Robert! I'd be perfectly happy if the moderator deletes this thread.

Don’t have a dog in this fight, much like you. However, in the for sale post, it appears the OP contacted the seller on 01/27. He again follows up on the same post on 02/04 mentioning that he had also “texted.” And then again on 02/10.

This has nothing to do with “class.” Moreover, “open roasting?” Seriously?

THIS ^ ...and some sellers are slower than others and need to be called out from time to time. It is what it is.
