wicked 3.6 longblock re-listed 4000usd
Posted this a few weeks ago, thought we had it sold, deal fell through, so here we go again...walnut shell cleaned, 993 crankcase boatailed and de-burred; 993 crank & rods std/std; Layshaft-extension and oil pump (993); 993 P/C, cylinders re-honed to accomodate boatailed crankcase-PC have 24K km; original rings; cylinder heads ported & polished; 993 camtowersX2; 964 camshafts R&L; all rocker shafts & hydraulic rockers; LHS chainhousing & cover; RHS chainhousing, no cover; tensioners, ramps, sprockets and hardware including original chains; all through bolts and other engine harware nuts & bolts. Shipping & crating from Ottawa Canada not included.

What's the story on this? How does one end up with part of a longblock? The only other times I've seen something like this was when a teardown revealed something unhappy, the parts were all thrown in a box and a new engine was sourced.

What you see and is described is what is available. It is the result of sorting through a whole bunch of goodies that are currently sitting idle, and might be of use to fellow pelicans while at the same time being able to put some much needed $$$ back in our pockets...

um... Pelicans, what else would be needed here to make this engine run? Could it be turned into an oversize version of an SC motor? Ie. no computers etc? Or is that making something "simple" more complicated?

If anyone needs a feedback on freds parts I can say all is excellent . I just traveled up to meet him(and Al ) in Montreal 2 weeks ago. I bought a very nice motor (66mmx92mm 10.5:1 Twin plugger) as well as a near flawless set of early sports seats . I am very happy with my purchases and recommend these guys . The transaction was friendly and proffecional . I say this since Fred is new to the board and is selling high dollar items .

This motor was going to be assembled this coming winter. Upcoming surgery has changed the plan...must be sold! Fred C.
