Smile K27 Turbocharger FS

SOLD>>>>>I have a K27 7006, no shaft play, mabee 1000mi in 2004/2005 if that. This is a turbo that compliments 964 cams nicely, a real upper rpm kick in the pants! I replaced it last year with a k29, now it's taking up kitchen counter space...$550 shipped conus. e-mail at slivan@verizon.net.
TomSOLD

Hi;
I don't. know if I asked you this question before or not, here is my question any way...
Would this Turbo fit and work on a stock 3.3 engine.
I have 1981 3.3 engine and Transmission with the stock kkk Turbine. I don't. plan on rebuilding the engine with new cams etc. as I have just completed the engine rebuild.
Hope you can help.

Kamalea,
This turbo wakes up a stock motor even with the stock wastegate spring. I beleive you had asked me about the K29 which would not work well without other upgrades. This fits in the stock location with the adapter nipple (available from Stephen at Imagine Auto) Hope this helps!

Hi Tom;
What does the 7006 mean?
I saw some K27's with other Numbers like 7200 etc.
Also how old is your k27 and how long did you use it?
Many thanks

the power band for the 7006 comes on 300/350 rpm later than the 7200 but does not run out of breath at higher rpms. This turbo is dated 9/03 (most likely a rebuilt date) from powerhaus and came to me in spring 04. I ran it for perhaps a thousand miles at which point I added a crankfire ignition and a K29 (which you inquired about previously) It's in perfect condition with no shaft play and only needs the adapter nipple to fit the stock motor. $500 shipped conus.

Yes I do! Still have the turbo, thousand miles or so on a powerhaus rebuild. I'm at slyguy@att.net.

Sale is Pending to Greg. Regardless, if your motor is a normally aspirated, it does not fit without serious modifications. If you have a 3.6 turbo, you've already got an uprated K27.
