FS: Pro-rebuilt, zero-mile 915 transmission
Have for sale a 915/61 transmission from an SC for sale. This was rebuilt by Jim, lead technician and owner of European Performance in Raleigh, NC. The trans has not been installed in a car since rebuilding.
Details: -Planetary diff - no LSD (8:31) -Notched bellhousing for 3.2 flywheel sensor -Electronic speedo - no mechanical drive -All synchros replaced -1/2 synchro sleeve replaced -3/4 synchro sleeve replaced -Dogteeth on 1st and 2nd replaced -Over $1,700 in parts & labor - copy of bill provided to serious parties upon request Shipping - paid by buyer or can arrange local pickup, or can meet within a reasonable distance of Raleigh, NC. Price is $2,000.

Thank you for your comments. The price of parts is getting to the point where the labor is a comparative bargain... Scott, Thank you for your interest, feel free to shoot me a PM. To answer a question I received off the board - regarding the notching in the bellhousing for the DME flywheel sensor. This notching in no way impairs the transmission for use with non-DME cars. Will work just fine on an SC for example (which is what this box originally came out of).

Transmission is sold - just got off the phone with a nice gentleman who had expressed immediate interest after I posted, via email. Scott, I hate to pull the rug out but this fellow first emailed me early this afternoon and was on the phone committing when your 2nd PM came in - sometimes the timing can be extremely close, but I'm trying to be fair.
To Scott and all, I'll advise if this deal does not work out for some reason. Thanks to all for your time and interest.
