F/S : RARE PORSCHE (euro) 1992 Carrera RS leather buckets

FOR SALE:
FACTORY RARE Euro Carrera RS leather Recaro bucket seats. These are no the close looking Speedster buckets there are the Carrera RS buckets.
These are OEM Factory leather recaro buckets.. not the Recaro Pole Positions.. they are not the same seats, these are made exclusive for PORSCHE for the RS models they were selling for this vintage. The seats were removed from a 1992 Euro Carrera. The seats have a PORSCHE factory part number decal that is

(R) seat: 964.521.004.66
(L) seat :964.521.003.66

The seats were built in june (Juni) 1992 as stated on the decal. There were only 2200 of these cars built ROW..... as the Carrera RS wasn't ever imported into the US. The seats are in GREAT shape! There are the tri color gray and black. I wanted to paint the rear of the buckets white for my 930 .. but can't bring myself to ruin the factory Carrera RS buckets.. I'd rather buy the cheaper Pole position and paint them than destroy a rare OEM seat like this ( which I am not going to do as I am leaving the 930 stock inside )...These seats are really for the person that understands what they are and wants factory parts for his or her Porsche. Who can take pride in owning a rare Porsche factory seat.. In time I am sure I will regret posting them for sale....but it is .. what it is..

Here are a few pictures of the seats... I am asking $4,000 plus shipping.

Lemme know if you want them... I have just taken care of 3 PM's.. so the first to shoot payment gets them. I KNOW I will regret selling them and one day when I want a pair back.. I am sure to pay 1-2K more than I am selling these for. and nice ones will be harder to find.
But hey the 930 needs funds and they must go. Here are some more pictures of the seats.. either e-mail me or shoot me a PM if you want them. Real CARRERA RS seats don't pop up everyday.

Do these use the suspension system under the bottom cushion like the Speedster seats?

Pull up the bottom cushion and they will either sit on the shell or have the suspension system like the Speedsters. Just wondering if the RS used the same system.
That's the main difference between the Porsche models and the off the shelf Recaro's

There is no suspension system on the RS seat.. there is a very thin ( 1" thick )velcroed in cushion that can be left in or removed, but nothing that looks like a suspension. That must be the difference in the two seats.

hope that helps...

Thanks.....

Just so people know.. these are not like the Speedster seats.. the entire bucket shell is different. The RS buckets have more bracing on the back of the shell ..

Here is a pic of the rear of the seats.. the black is the RS and the whiye is the Speedster.. note they are NOT the same seat.... they're infact very diff..
