Got your PM Jose,

Thanks for selling them for a higher offer after we made a deal. I guess we know now what your word means. Take the extra $$ you made and go buy some integrity.

Actually the terms of the sale are very clear. It states "first one that
paypals me the money gets the wheels" that meant you too. Sorry you feel
this way i did not want to upset anyone, and as far as my word and integrity goes you can ask anyone that knows me how very solid it is.

To anyone that is watching when i sell something here i try to disclose everything as accurately as possible regarding the condition of the merchandise. Like all my for sale threads say, first one to paypal me gets the parts. thats how i do it. some people like it. some dont. I ship the same day or the next day as fast as i can. usually when i tell someone thats going to buy a part from me that i have an offer for more money they usually get offended or think im tricking them aqnd tell me to forget it so i simply changed to first one that paypals me gets the parts.

Regards
Jose

Yes, well that's all fine and dandy but the minor detail you left out was that up until late today you didn't know what the shipping charges would be so how was I supposed to PayPal you? You could have at least had the balls to let me and whoever else you strung along know it was a "beat the clock" transaction.

It's not a big deal and I'm over it. I just see lots of this kind of ***** going on lately where sellers offer something, commit to a deal and then sell out if a sweeter deal comes along. In my book that lacks integrity regardless of what "anyone who knows you" says.

Cheers,

John

Before you and kyle were in on buying these wheels three other people commited to buy them and made me run around for them getting this quote and that quote for repairing the lip polishing ect. and guess what? they all backed out after committing to buy and making me waste my time. At least i have the balls not to post **** about it and cry like a baby. You sure dont sound like youre over it, but who cares? really? How was i sopposed to pay you say? simple. paypal the money less the shipping.... thats it, claim the wheels then paypal me the shipping after. Your common sense could've figured that out for you....or not. Get over it there's plenty of fuchs that pop up all around all the time. again im sorry this upset you and Good luck to you finding the wheels again.

Justify it however you can....

Your business plan is full of holes. What if I was the first to PP you $1 (or some arbitrary amount) thereby sealing the deal until we could work out the shipping? What if several of us PP'd you $1300 at the same time? How would you deal with that? Common sense is not present in this equation.

For the record, I PM'd you stating that I would offer $1300 shipped. You countered by saying that you would take $1200 plus shipping. I responded that I would do that and you were going to have the tires removed and get shipping costs. You responded late today saying that shipping would be $116 but you would take $1300. I asked for confirmation of your PP account and then here we are.

I just bought some stuff from Jose, and I like the way he does business; he describes the parts accurately, states his rules, and performs promptly. It was a pleasure buying from him - he even shipped prioiry mail, and ate $25 of the charges. Which I'm now offerering to paypal to him, for being such a good seller. I'm really tired of guys who sell stuff here, but ignore PM's for Emails, or ignore posts for PM's, or put guys first in line who 'are interested', rather than lining up those first to commit. Best to state your terms and stick to them. Just my .02

Thanks David, I guess i could have been better this way or that way but im new at this and i really hate conflicts. with some experience i guess i can handle the next sale a little better i hope. the truth is that im in financial turmoil and ive had to sell my beloved project to pay my bills. a back and forth price war can result in losing the sale i need so much to go through and thats what i was preventing at the expense of upseting someone. I appreciate the gesture man peace!

You are right about the holes im no expert doing buisness. I should of explained the terms better. I apoligize for that. In the event that i get several payments the first one would take precedence and the rest will be refunded back. paypal does not keep the fee they charge the sellers and you can instantly refund any funds you recieve.

Jose, No hard feelings. Yes, I was a bit pissed about the way you handled it but it was your sale and therefore your rules. Not the way I would have done it but hey...

Best,

John
