Bill,

Did you buy this for you old 3.6 engine that is now in my car? Would it work on this engine or is it for a later car?

Sad to say am finally getting it on the road. Patrick Motorsports yanked it out, did everything right that needed to be fixed and its driveable now. Am trying to decide if I want A/C on it or not but thats the only thing holding it back.

Joe, you need to go to the thread about these. I believe it works for all 964 and OBD1 993.

the issue for 964 and early 993 is that they use round OBD1 plugs, this one has a trapezoidal OBD2 plug that was used from part way through '95. if you can get a round OBD1 plug then this is useable on 964

964 and '95 993 are OBD1 regardless of the plug

RoW 993 are OBD1 too
